El Tintero Mágiko (The Magic Inkpen) is a magazine in comic book size aimed to everyone interested, specially tweens and teens, in learning to make comics. The project’s main challenge was to maintain an adequate and dynamic balance between texts and images to provide the editorial style a contemporary and adequate feeling for a rich didactic experience.
We supported the authors and producers of ¡Ka-Boom! Estudio with the images selection and editing among their own vast image bank and others.
The work process was enjoyable and peppy, having the client’s trust to propose and achieve a quality product that could be presented in the FIL Guadalajara book fair in time for it. The output complies with a great labor, because in Mexico, an editorial endeavor of this kind haven’t been made before, with the experience and teachings of professionals in the field with 15, 30 and even 40 years of career.
